Bryan Burke, 46, of Blisworth, was sentenced at Northampton Crown Court in May to six years and six months in prison after pleading guilty to breaking into two houses and attempting to break into another

Sifean Ghilani, 20, previously of Winstanley Road, Wellingborough, Tristan Patel, 19, previously of Newcomen Road, Wellingborough, and Levar Thomas, 21, previously of Knox Road, Wellingborough, were all found guilty of manslaughter and with conspiracy to rob Stevie. They were sentenced in April. Ghilani was sentenced to 14 years and six months in prison, Thomas to 13 years and three months in prison and Patel to 11 years and eight months in prison.

Prolific rogue trader Alan Fitzgerald who preyed on some vulnerable residents in the county was sentenced in relation to 10 offences he had previously pleaded guilty to. He also asked for a further 24 offences to be taken into consideration. He was sentenced to a total of six years imprisonment for running a building business that defrauded approximately 40 consumers out of a total of 300,000.

Pierre Thomas Coleman, 33, of Northampton, pleaded guilty in April to sexually assaulting a teenage girl in Northampton. He was sentenced to seven years in prison.
