A teenager who was wanted by the Metropolitan Police was caught in Northampton and was found in possession of a firearm.

The 15-year-old was found by Northamptonshire officers at a property in Grafton View in Wootton yesterday (August 12).

Northamptonshire Police has now confirmed that he has since been charged with possession of a firearm and perverting the course of justice.

On the same day, the Northampton Neighbourhood Policing Team also executed a Drugs Act warrant near the town centre and arrested three males wanted on recall to prison all before 1.30pm.
