A teenage boy has been arrested in connection with two arson attacks in Weedon Bec.

The boy is on police bail pending further enquiries.

But Northamptonshire Police believe at least three people were involved in the suspected arson in West Street on Tuesday, March 30, which damaged three vehicles in the early hours of the morning.

The first incident took place at about 12.20am on Friday, March 5, when a red Honda Civic car was targeted while parked on a driveway in The Greys. It is believed at least two people were involved in this incident.

Police are working with detectives investigating these incidents, and the neighbourhood policing team will continue to patrol the village to offer reassurance to residents.

They are urging people to come forward with any information, CCTV, doorbell or dash cam footage which could assist with any of the incidents, to contact them.
