'Superstar' PD socks sniffs out cannabis in Northampton property

A police dog described as a 'superstar' has today aided a team of officers and helped them to find a supply of cannabis.

PD Socks was taken to a property in Bouverie Walk, Abington at around 9am this morning (August 20).

The pooch sniffed out a 'small quantity' of cannabis inside the property.

Taking to Twitter after the successfully executed warrant, Northampton Nieghbourhood Policing Team called PD Socks a 'superstar'.

Northamptonshire Police has confirmed that there have been no arrests as yet in relation to this incident.
