Six arrested after fight breaks out involving ten people near Northampton warehouse

Six people have been arrested following an incident near Clipper Logistics, in Grange Park.

Northamptonshire Police have told the Chronicle & Echo that they were called to reports of a fight, in Saxon Avenue, on December 3, which involved a group of ten people.

One man had his nose broken, another man suffered a fractured cheek bone and a third person, a woman, recieved bruising, a spokeswoman for the police force confirmed today.

Wooden bats were also used during the incident.

Six people have since been arrested, including a 26-year-old woman and five men aged 31, 24, 33, 30, 18.

All of whom have now been released on police bail pending further enquiries.

A spokeswoman for Clipper Logistics declined to comment.

An East Midlands Ambulance Service spokeswoman added: "We received a call at 00.19am on Thursday, December 3 to Saxon Avenue, Northampton to assist with a medical emergency.

"We sent three crewed ambulances and transported three patients to Northampton General Hospital."
