Robber snatched iPad from teenage boy in Northampton

A 13-year-old boy was grabbed round the neck by a robber as he walked down a Northampton alleyway listening to music on his iPad.

The attack happened in North Holme Court, Thorplands, between 3.30pm and 4pm last Friday (August 12, 2016).

The offender held the victim tight around his neck and then kicked him to the back of the legs twice causing the victim to stumble. The robber then snatched the iPad and headphones and ran off in an unknown direction.

An unknown woman later handed the iPad back to the victim as he talked to his mother on the doorstep of their home.

A Northamptonshire Police spokesman said there is no description of the offender except that he was white and tall.
