Power tools worth £700 stolen after thieves smash window in Northampton

Power tools and a wallet were stolen from a van in Northampton.

Sometime between 10pm and 11.30pm on Friday, February 19, thieves smashed the passenger window of white Ford Transit in Norton Road, Kingsthorpe, and stole Makita power tools worth £700.

A black wallet was also taken.

A man was seen acting suspiciously in the Norton Road/Cranford Road area around the time of the theft. He is described as about 6ft and wearing a light-coloured or grey jacket.

Witnesses to the incident, or anyone with information, are asked to call Northamptonshire Police on 101.
