Police want to trace dog owner after runner is bitten on Northamptonshire footpath

Police are trying to trace the owner of a dog who allegedly bit a woman while she was out running in Northamptonshire.
Officers say the runner was approached by two dogs on a footpath near Bugbrooke and bitten by one, causing marks and bruising to the back of her leg.

Hide AdA Northamptonshire Police spokesman said: "The woman was running along the path that runs from Cornhill to the village, passing through the tunnel under the railway line and aqueduct, at about 6.50pm on Monday, June 15.
"She was approached from behind by two dogs one of which then bit her on the back of her leg, causing bite marks and bruises.
"One of the dogs was brown and the other was black and white. Both were medium-sized track near Bugbrooke
"The officer investigating the incident would like to speak to the owner or owners of these dogs and is urging them to contact police by calling us on 101 using incident number 20000312083."
