A CCTV image has been released by police in connection with the French Bulldog puppy, who was stolen from outside her Northampton home.

The five-month-old puppy, called Winter, was stolen in Edith Street between 12.30pm and 1pm on Sunday, February 28.

Winter is described as a small white dog with grey and black facial markings. She has one blue eye and one brown eye. The puppy is microchipped but was not wearing a collar when she was stolen.

She was snatched when she slipped outside - whilst her owner was moving house - and was carried off by an unknown man, who walked along Palmerstone Road and onto the Wellingborough Road.

Officers have now released a CCTV image of a man they want to identify as they believe he may have information relevant to the investigation.

A spokesperson for Northamptonshire Police said: "The man pictured, anyone who recognises him, or anyone who has information about the whereabouts of Winter, should call Northamptonshire Police on 101, quoting incident number: 21000116786, or Crimestoppers in confidence on 0800 555111."
