The damage caused to vehicles has included smashed windows, dents and cracks.

PCSO Tara Cooksammy said: “These incidents have rightly caused concern among the community in Daventry and I hope they are reassured by the fact we have had a young boy in to be questioned in connection with the incidents.

“The young people committing these acts of criminal damage may falsely think their actions are harmless. However, they’re not – not only are they causing damage to vehicles but they could also be responsible for causing a serious road traffic collision.

“I would encourage anyone who may have information about these incidents to contact us via 101, quoting incident number 21000124293.”
