Police are investigating a possible case of arson after two caravans were destroyed by fire in Northampton.

Officers report the two caravans were in Walter Tull Way, close to the Northampton Town ground in Sixfields, when they were set on fire, causing irreparable damage.

The incident happened on Sunday, February 23, between 11pm and 11.55pm and Northamptonshire Police are appealing for witnesses or anyone with information to contact them on 101 using incident number: 20000107509.
