Police launched an urgent appeal for information after a burglary in the Blackthorn area of Northampton over the weekend.

Officers issued a description of two men following the break-in in Wysall Road between midnight and 1am on Sunday, March 22, and are asking anyone who may have seen anything or has CCTV in the area to get in touch..

A spokesman for Northamptonshire Police said: "The first offender is male, about 5ft 6in, of a medium build with a black mask covering his face and his hood up. He was wearing a black tracksuit and the bottoms had a small coloured Union Jack flag on the right front pocket.

"The second offender is also male, about 5ft 4in, of an average build. He was wearing similar clothing to the first male and also had a black mask with his hood up.

"Officers would like to speak to anyone who may have any information, who may be able to help identify the offenders or who may have CCTV footage of two males acting suspiciously in the area.
