Police hunt underway for burglars who stole vehicle and trailer from farm near Thrapston

The trailer has been recovered but the John Deere Gator vehicle is yet to be found.

The burglary took place between 8pm on Thursday (24 September) and 8am on Friday (25 September) when the offender or offenders broke into Denford Ash Farm’s secure complex in Denford and stole the vehicles from a building.

The vehicles in question were a green John Deere Gator and an Ifor Williams trailer. The trailer has since been located abandoned near the village of Hardwick. The John Deere Gator vehicle - with an index number of AE12 FSS - is still missing.

A spokesperson for Northamptonshire Police said: “Officers would like to hear from anyone who may have witnessed this incident, who pay have seen anyone acting suspiciously near to the farm or who may have been offered a John Deere Gator vehicle for sale in unusual circumstances.”
