A police dog chase resulted in two arrests after suspects fled from a car, which activated ANPR cameras in Northampton.

Police say details of a vehicle, which was suspected to have been used in commercial burglaries in Hertfordshire had been circulated, before it activated ANPR cameras in Northampton shortly after 4.30am on Sunday, (October 22).

Two occupants decamped from the vehicle and were tracked by PD Olly and arrested nearby.

A 32-year-old man from Hemel Hempstead and an 18-year-old man from Hackney, London, remain in police custody.
