Police appeal after man follows women and indecently exposes himself at busy Northampton retail park
Police are appealing for witnesses after a man followed women through a busy Northampton retail park car park before indecently exposing himself to them.
A spokesperson for Northamptonshire Police said the incident happened at St James Retail Park in Northampton.
“Between 12.20pm and 12.40pm on Friday, August 7, the man followed females in the car park near Home Bargains before indecently exposing himself to them,” the spokesperson said.
“Officers only have a very limited description of the offender. He was white with tanned skin and short hair. He was wearing a full tracksuit which had writing on it.
“It is believed the car park would have been busy at the time, and officers would like to hear from anyone who witnessed the incident or who may have been approached in a similar way.
“Northamptonshire Police is committed to tackling all forms of sexual offending and we take reports of this nature very seriously. Anyone who can help identify this man is urged to get in touch,” the spokesperson added.
Witnesses or anyone with information should call Northamptonshire Police on 101 or Crimestoppers anonymously on 0800 555 111.
