Pink basket used to carry away jewellery in Northamptonshire house burglary

Burglars who broke into a home in Northamptonshire used a pink washing basket to carry away a haul of jewellery from the house.

Northamptonshire Police is appealing for information after a burglary took place in West End, Silverstone, on Tuesday, June 30.

A force spokesperson said offenders broke into the house and stole several items of jewellery and other items, including a “pink washing basket,” which it says may have used to carry the items away with.

The burglary took place between 6pm and 8.10pm, and police believe the offenders used a black, three door Audi to make their getaway.

The force has also released CCTV images of two men who may have been involved in the burglary.
