A 38-year-old man wanted in connection with an assault was arrested on Sunday (January 3) after being tracked and chased by police officers in Greatmeadow, Northampton with the help of PD Nala.

The offender’s white man was spotted by officers in Greatmeadow at around 4.45am. He then got out of the vehicle and ran away.

PD Nala tracked him to Great Billing Way where he was sighted by a police officer and told to stop.

PD Nala chased down a man wanted in connection with an assault.

He then decided to run away again, at which point PD Nala was deployed to chase after him.

When she caught up with the offender, he was immediately arrested. No charges have since been made against him.
