Two men have been released on bail pending further enquiries by Police after a parked BMW was trashed in Northampton town centre.

The black 5 series was seriously damaged in Earl Street, off Upper Mounts, at around 7pm on Wednesday (May 5).

Northamptonshire Police confirmed two men, aged 44 and 20 were arrested in connection with the incident and since released pending further enquiries.

A spokesman said: "Officers investigating the incident where a parked car was attacked would like to hear from anyone who saw the incident or has information about it. Please call 101 using incident number 21000246968."
