Northamptonshire pensioner admits sexually assaulting young girl
A Northamptonshire pensioner who sexually assaulted a young girl has been given a two-year suspended custodial sentence.
Clive Sadler, aged 67, of Trafalgar Way, Daventry, appeared at Northampton Crown Court yesterday after admitting a charge of sexual activity with a young girl.
The court heard that Sadler pleaded guilty on the day his trial was due to begin.
Her Honour Judge Adrienne Lucking sentenced Sadler to two years in prison, suspended for two years.
He was also placed on the sex offenders’ register and must inform police of any change of address.
