Northamptonshire man denies murdering man in KFC restaurant
A 33-year-old man has denied murdering a man in a fast-food restaurant in Northamptonshire.
Ashley Palmer, of Moss Walk, Corby appeared at Northampton Crown Court on Thursday after he was charged in relation to an incident in KFC in Oakley Road, Corby on Tuesday, November 3.
A 38-year-old man from Birmingham suffered serious head injuries as a result of an alleged assault, which happened shortly after 7pm.
He was taken to University Hospital Coventry for treatment, where he died on Friday, November 13.
The case was adjourned for a trial to take place in respect of the murder charge in May.
