Northamptonshire man denies killing his father
A Northamptonshire man has pleaded not guilty to the manslaughter of his father.
Joseph Sharp, aged 45, of Short Stocks, Rushden, appeared at Northampton Crown Court after he was charged with killing his father Joseph Sharp senior.
Mr Sharp senior died in hospital in October last year after he was allegedly assaulted by his son.
His Honour Judge Rupert Mayo said a trial would be held next year.
