Three teenagers — a 15-year-old and a 16-year-old from Kettering and an 18-year-old from Wellingborough — had already been arrested on suspicion of attempted murder.

Now a 25-year-old from Kettering has also been questioned.

All four have been released on bail as detectives continue their investigation.

Police were at the scene in Wellington Street, Kettering, and nearby Princes Street the morning after the attack carrying out door-to-door enquiries and forensic searches.
