Northampton trio charged with string of petrol station burglaries across East Midlands appear in court

Three Northampton men who allegedly burgled a string of convenience stores and petrol stations across the East Midlands have appeared in court.

Otis William Barrett, 25, of Banbury Close, Northampton, Terrance Mark Brown, 25, of Glebeland Road, Northampton, and Matthew Lawrence Brown, 30, of Crow Lane, Northampton, all appeared at Northampton Crown Court today (June 11) charged with aggravated burglary and conspiracy to burgle.

The three men were arrested on April 30 following an alleged burglary at Tesco Extra in Coppice Drive.They are accused of carrying out a string of burglaries against petrol stations and kiosks across the Northamptonshire, Warwickshire and Thames Valley Policing areas.

Matthew Brown is also charged with damaging property.

They were remanded into custody and will appear in crown court again on July 12.
