"The bike was worth around £800 but it wasn't even mine as a friend had lent it to me - it's just annoying."

The student first had her bicycle stolen outside PureGym but she got it back as she saw someone riding it and proved it was her's by opening the lock that was still attached.

It was taken again when she left it locked-up overnight so a friend lent her the Carrera bicycle.

The new bike was taken from a pole near the junction with Melbourne Street a matter of minutes before the student was going to use it.

The Carrera bike has a scratch in the paint at the bottom of the frame near the sprocket, according to the owner.

Anyone with information is asked to call police on 101.
