A second man was abusive and pushed the landlord

An employee was punched and soaked with a drink after asking a man to leave a Northampton pub.

During the incident at around 5.40pm on Sunday (October 22) in the Penny Loafer, in Drapery, a second man also became abusive and pushed the landlord, police say.

A Northamptonshire Police spokeswoman said: “A man was asked to leave the Penny Loafer pub and threw a drink over a member of staff and punched her in the face. A second man became abusive and pushed the landlord.”

Officers investigating the incident believe the men in the image may be able to assist with their enquiries and are appealing for them, or anyone who may recognise them, to get in touch.
