Northampton paedophile found guilty of 13 sexual offences against children including six counts of rape
A Northampton paedophile has been found guilty of 13 sexual offences against children, including six counts of rape.
Ryan Clarkson, of Swain Court, Northampton, stood trial at Leicester Crown Court after denying all charges, but was found guilty of 13 offences on Monday December 8.
The 26-year-old was convicted of six counts of raping of a child, two counts of assault by penetration of a child, four counts of sexual assault of a child and one count of sexual activity with a child.
Northamptonshire Police says all of the offences were committed when Clarkson was aged between 10 and 14.

An investigation into the offences was launched in 2022 after multiple survivors of Clarkson’s abuse came forward.
Detective Constable Evie Mugridge from the Force’s Child Abuse Investigation Unit, who led the investigation, said: “This has been an exceptionally complex case, and I would like to praise the survivors who have showed immense strength throughout.
“Their bravery is undeniable and although nothing can ever erase what Ryan Clarkson did, I hope they can take some comfort in the fact that because of their courage, a sexual predator is now behind bars.
“In the Child Abuse Investigation Unit, we are so passionate about protecting our children in Northamptonshire. We will always take reports of sexual abuse seriously and we will always do everything we can to bring the offenders to justice.”
Clarkson is due to be sentenced on January 14, 2026.
