A man will stand trial in January charged with allegedly hurting a Northamptonshire Police dog.

Dominic Lacey, of Tresham Green, was charged with causing unnecessary suffering to a working animal and being in charge of a motor vehicle above the legal limit of alcohol following an incident on October 25, 2020.

The police dog Lacey is accused of hurting is Northamptonshire PD 'Ebby'.

Lacey pleaded not guilty to all charges. He will stand trial at Northampton Magistrates' Court in January 2022.
