Northampton man, 22, faces Crown Court date over burglary and possession of a bladed weapon charges

Northampton magistrates remanded a 22-year-old man in custody after he appeared charged with five separate offences.

Marius Chiriac was arrested following a residential burglary in the town on Tuesday (September 14).

Chiriac, of of Far Meadow Court, Northampton, was also charged with two offences of possession of a bladed weapon, a theft of a pedal cycle and escape from lawful custody.

His case has been sent to Northampton Crown Court where he will next appear on October 14.
