'No point hiding your face, we've got your number plate': Police catch more speeding drivers in Northampton

Twenty-two drivers caught over the limit

More than 20 drivers were caught speeding in a street in Northampton on Monday...and some drivers were trying to cover their faces after they were caught on camera.

Northants Police Safer Roads Team's speed camera van was parked up in Broad Street.

A spokesperson said they caught 22 drivers speeding, one not wearing a seatbelt and one for not having.

"Had a few people trying to cover their faces after being caught, it's ok though because we have your number plate so you'll hear from us soon," the spokesperson said on Twitter.
