A murder investigation has been launched after a body was found in a house in Northampton.
Police officers were called to a property in Littlewood Close, Dalllngton at around 10am yesterday morning (June 23).

Hide AdConcerns had been raised about the welfare of 53-year-old Andrew Pomroy, who was found dead at the scene.
A 43-year-old man has been arrested on suspicion of murder in connection with the incident and remains in police custody at this time.
Senior Investigating Officer, Detective Chief Inspector Joe Banfield, said: “We are encouraging anyone with any information about Andrew’s death to come forward.
“If you saw or heard anything suspicious in the Littlewood Close area anytime from the evening of Saturday, June 20, to the morning of Tuesday, June 23, please contact us, no matter how small or insignificant you think your information might be.

Detectives are satisfied that this was an isolated incident and there is no wider risk to members of the public.
Increased foot patrols will be taking place in the Dallington area today (June 23) to reassure the community.
