A motorcycle was damaged during an attempted robbery in Balfour Road, Northampton.

The attempted robbery took place between 9.30pm and 10pm on Friday, March 19 when two men stood in the road and ordered a passing motorcyclist to stop.

The driver did not stop so the motorcycle was struck with a metal object. The rider then continued on, despite the motorcycle being damaged, and turned onto Brockton Street.

There is no description of the two men, except that they were wearing dark clothing.
