Officers are investigating following a burglary at a house on Birds Hill Road in the village of Eastcote, near Patishall, at the weekend.

Between 7.30pm on Friday (25 September) and 5am on Saturday (26 September), thieves cut through the fencing at a farm and walked through the cattle field to enter the main yard.

A barn door was damaged along with security lights before they stole a KTM 400 EXC motocross dual sports bike from a storage container.

The vehicle registration mark (VRM) number on the bike is W672JOW and the chassis number is 329868.

A spokesman for Northamptonshire Police said: "Officers want to hear from anyone who may have witnessed this incident or who may have seen anyone or any vehicles acting suspiciously in the area between the stated times. They also want to hear if this bike may have been offered for sale."
