Motorbike rider airlifted to hospital after serious Northampton crash

A motorbike rider was airlifted to hospital with serious injuries after a crash in Northampton this afternoon (Sunday).

The county's serious collision investigation unit has appealed for witnesses and information after the incident in Wake Way at about 1.20pm.

The crash involved an orange KTM Superduke GT18 and a blue Ford Fiesta.

The rider of the bike, a 61-year-old man, was airlifted from the scene with serious injuries.
