Man injured in taxi rank attack
A man was injured in an unprovoked attack at a taxi rank in New Street, Daventry in the early hours of this morning.
The 29-year-old victim suffered a deep cut to his face in the attack at about 3.30am.
A spokesman for Northamptonshire Police said: “The victim was approached by another man, when for reasons yet unknown, the second man approached him and punched him in the face.”

Hide AdHis attacker was white, aged 25, 5ft 11ins, with short, dark brown hair. He was clean shaven and wore a dark t-shirt, dark jeans and black shoes
