A man has been charged with allegedly assaulting three people before exposing himself in an incident centred on a Northampton restaurant.

Mark Miller, of West Cotton Close, was arrested on July 24 following an incident at around 8.15pm at a restaurant on Bridge Street.

The 38-year-old appeared at Northampton Magistrate's Court yesterday (July 27) charged with three counts of assault, exposure and using violence to try and enter the restaurant. He is also charged with allegedly threatening a police officer.

He was remanded on bail and will appear at Northampton Magistrate's Court on November 3.
