Man charged over weekend window smashing spree in Northampton as cannabis factory discovered

A man has been charged over taking a baseball bat to three cars and the windows of three homes in Penrhyn Road at 2.20am on May 17.

Kazimieras Bajoras, 43, of Penrhyn Road, has now been charged with criminal damage in connection with the incident, a spokeswoman for Northamptonshire Police today said, and appeared at Northampton Magistrates' Court this morning (Monday).

While on scene, police officers also discovered a small cannabis factory with around 50 plants at an address on this road a short time later before forensics arrived.

A 43-year-old man has been arrested in connection with the factory and has been released under investigation for this offence pending further enquiries.
