Man charged with drink driving after car crashes into Northampton home

A man has now been charged with allegedly driving into a house last month, which tore down the porch of a property in Lake View.

Adam Sleszycki, 24, of The Drapery, Northampton, was charged on Wednesday (April 29) with drink driving, driving without due care and attention and having no insurance.

Police taped off part of Churchill Avenue in Lake View on Friday, April 3 after a red SEAT Altea drove into the front of a house at 3.20pm.

Eyewitness reports at the time claimed that neighbours were evacuated and gas engineers made their way on scene to make sure the area was safe.

Sleszycki has been summoned to court by post and no date for his appearance has been set yet.
