A 24-year-old man was arrested by Northamptonshire Police for disqualified driving and three other offences on Kettering Road at 6:30pm yesterday (1 October).

The arrest happened after his vehicle caught the attention of police and the driver attempted to give false details.

Mr Sereika was interviewed by police last night and remanded in custody for all offences. The driver was initially disqualified last week.

The man was due to be presented at magistrates' court today.

From next week, Northamptonshire Police will be naming disqualified drivers from the point of charge. This will work similarly to the annual Christmas drink-drive campaign.
