A planned drug warrant was carried out in Northampton this morning.

Police officers seized class A drugs, drug paraphernalia and cash from an address in Kingsland Avenue, Kingsthorpe at around 10.30am today (April 2).

A 32-year-old man and a woman, aged 27 were arrested at the address.

A spokeswoman for Northamptonshire Police said: “This was a planned warrant at an address in Kingsland Avenue, Kingsthorpe at about 10.30am this morning.

“Class A drugs, drug paraphernalia and cash were seized and two people were arrested (a 32-year-old man and a 27-year-old woman).

“Fighting crime carries on despite COVID-19.”
