He punched his victim, who he didn't know, at about 4.10am on November 2, 2019.

It knocked his victim out and left him with a cut lip.

Burnham, of Jericho House in Oundle, admitted assault before magistrates in Northampton earlier this month.

Magistrates sentenced him to a 12-month conditional discharge - meaning he will not face further punishment as long as he commits no more offences in the next 12 months.

Burnham was ordered to pay compensation of £150, costs of £85 and a surcharge to fund victim services of £20.
