Man accused of escaping lawful custody appears in Northampton court
A 36-year-old man has appeared at court in connection with an incident of escaping lawful custody, Northamptonshire Police have confirmed.
A spokesperson for the force said: “Derry John Crowshaw, of no fixed abode, was arrested on Saturday morning (May 23) in Northampton.
“He appeared at Northampton Magistrates’ Court yesterday (May 25) charged with escaping lawful custody.
“As a result, he was remanded into custody ahead of a trial at Northampton Crown Court which is due to take place in July,” the spokesperson added.
