Lucky escape for residents after hammer thrown at window of Northampton house

Two people in Northampton had a lucky escape after a hammer was thrown at a window of a house.

The hammer smashed the window of a house in Addison Road, Abington, at about 9.30pm on Saturday (20 February).

A police spokesman said the householders were in the room at the time, however, no-one was hurt.

Witnesses to the incident, or anyone with information, are asked to call Northamptonshire Police on 101.
