Look out for 'suspicious' Northampton man who has been seen attempting to get into garages and sheds

A man was seen trying to get into residents' garages and sheds on three separate occasions in Northampton last week.

This "suspicious" activity - in Ashwood Road - was reported to police three times between 7.30pm on Thursday (March 18) and 8.55pm on Saturday (March 20).

The male is described as white and wearing a black jacket, dark jeans and a black beanie type hat. There is a possibility that he was using a bicycle to get around.

A spokesperson for Northamptonshire Police said: "Officers would like to hear from anyone who may have seen this male or who may have doorbell or CCTV footage of anyone acting suspiciously in the area over the past week or so.

"Anyone who may have any information regarding this incident is asked to call Northamptonshire Police on 101 quoting reference number 210000158058. Or alternatively, call Crimestoppers anonymously on 0800 555111."
