Lead stolen from church roof in Northamptonshire village

A large amount of lead has been stolen from a village church roof.

Northamptonshire Police say offender/s used a ladder to get onto the roof of St Peter and St Paul Church in Church Street, Watford near Daventry, in order to remove the metal.

The incident happened at around 3am in the early hours of Monday, April 11 and police would like to hear from anybody who saw or heard anything suspicious in the area around this time.
