Large section of Northampton park taped off by police as emergency incident continues into the night
Multiple police guards remain on scene at an ongoing incident at Dallington Park.
A large section of the park has been sealed off by officers who have been at the scene since earlier in the evening on Tuesday July 7, according to eye witnesses.
Duston residents told the Chron they heard multiple emergency services racing to the park – just off Harlestone Road and Dallington Park Road – at around 7.30pm.

The Chron arrived at the scene at around 11.30pm where multiple scene guards remain.Da
Part of the cordon sits at the side of the park with the children’s play area and changing rooms, borders Harlestone Road and extends to the first football pitch and bottom path.
Northamptonshire Police have been contacted for comment.
Elsewhere in town police have also sealed off Adnitt Road. Earlier in the day, St Andrew’s Road was also cordoned off after a suspicious device was found at an address there.
