Kettering robber with Joker face covering threatens teenager at knifepoint

Police are investigating.

A teenager was threatened at knifepoint near a Kettering play area by a robber wearing a Joker-style face covering.

Police have launched an investigation after the incident last Tuesday afternoon (March 23) by the Spring Rise Play Park area in Highfield Road.

The victim was walking walking along a footpath leading to the play area between 1.30pm and 2pm when he was approached by another male who threatened him with a knife and demanded he turn out his pockets.

The teenager fled and the robber left empty-handed.

A police spokesman said: "The offender was white, 5ft 6in and of an average build.

""He was wearing a grey tracksuit with the hood up, white and grey Nike Air Force One trainers and a distinctive Joker style face covering.
