Police had received intelligence from the community and found 238 mature plants spread across the four-bedroomed property.

PC Mark Walker, said: “This cannabis factory was affecting the lives of local residents, a fact that people often overlook when they see a factory of this nature being dismantled.

“I’m really pleased that we have been able to respond to their concerns, as that is the bread and butter of neighbourhood policing - listening to the community.

“With the increase of neighbourhood policing officers in Corby, we are determined to keep tackling local issues, and executing warrants of this nature will continue to be one of our priorities.”
