Fire and police stood down at Billing Aquadrome after false alarm

Police and the fire service were called out to Billing Aquadrome in Northampton this afternoon after fears a person may have been in the water.

The emergency call was made just before 5pm after items washed up leading people to believe someone may have fallen in.

However investigations showed it was a false alarm.
