17. Lee Waud
Football thug Waud was jailed for nearly three years and banned from every ground in England for 10 years over a fight at Rothersthorpe services on the M1 station. The Hull City fan, 38, admitted drunkenly attacking a Stoke supporter as he travelled home by coach following the final match of the season at Luton. The incident came shortly after Waud had attacked a Swansea fan in Hull following a game.
Waud pleaded guilty to two counts of affray and was sentenced to nine months for the Northampton attack and 12 months for the Hull incident. He was also given an additional consecutive 14 months for breaching a suspended sentence for a previous offence, making a total of two years, 11 months in prison. Photo: Northamptonshire Police
18. Aaron Oxlade
Oxlade was sentenced to 16 years, four months for raping a child. The offending came to light after the victim told her mother, Northampton Crown Court heard. 19. Jon Paul Martin
The 39-year-old from Northampton was jailed for two years after pleading guilty to a number of child sex offences. According to Northamptonshire Police, Martin chatted to a girl online and offered her £40 in exchange for sex. The girl blocked him and told a family member before the incident was reported to police.
Martin was also caught sending sexual images of himself to someone he thought was a child but was actually a decoy working for an online intervention team run by members of the public, police said. Photo: Northamptonshire Police
