5. Robert Howieson
Howieson robbed his local Kettering bookies at knifepoint in October 2023, The 41-year-old, of Rockingham Road in the town — who has 131 previous offences on his record — took £430 from the till after threatening the cashier at the Silver Street shop. He was arrested the following day when police visited his address and later admitted robbery and possession of a bladed article in public.Howieson was sentenced to four years in prison, of which he must serve two-thirds in custody before being considered for parole. After release, he will spend the remainder of his sentence on licence, plus an extra two years. Photo: Northamptonshire Police
6. Christopher Graham
Graham was jailed for 21 months after repeatedly breaching a Sexual Harm Prevention Order by moving house and staying overnight at a house where children live. The 26-year-old, of Field Street, Kettering, was also in communication with a child without their parent being told of his previous convictions — which included sexual activity with a child over incidents involving two young teenage girls. 7. Freddie Millar
Millar, who the court was told also identifies as Xenia Jade Millar, previously of Northampton, admitted breaching a Sexual Harm Prevention Order by failing to tell police he was in a relationship with a woman and had obtained new devices. The 31-year-old was released from prison in 2023 after being jailed in 2017 for raping a woman. Millar was sentenced to one year and four months in prison. Photo: Northamptonshire Police
8. Brett Stuart Trevor
The 32-year-old serial thug robbed a man at knifepoint just days after being released from prison in April 2023. He was jailed for 10 months for possessing a bladed article but just one day after being freed he assaulted a woman inside a property in Leicester Street, Kettering, attacking her with a small baseball bat as well as grabbing her hair and punching her.Three days after that he broke into a property in Jean Road and robbed his victim at knifepoint.
